Missy was diabetec for a little over 4 years. Missy was diagnosed at age 13 and passed away at the age of 17 due to liver failure.
Missy had irritable bowel syndrome at age 6 and was put on Hills prescription diet W/D and that did wonders for her. Missy was a pet store puppy so she had many illness & many surgery's. She was a trooper and even with diabetes for over 4 years she still had good eyesight up to the day she passed away.
She is now my angel watching over me.
Missy's diabetes was regulated very good. Humilin N 2 x daily between 5-6 units Missys diet was prescription diet W/D and stewart fiber treats.
Missy weighed 16 pounds. Missy at diagnosis was 25 pounds.
Losing the weight I believe let me enjoy and have 17 blessed years with her. She is missed dearly.
